Sacramento, California - CDFA knows food. We inspect it, we protect it, and we really enjoy it. So when the State of California came looking for a lead agency to coordinate the annual State Employees Food Drive, they didn’t have to look far. This year, CDFA is announcing a new partnership with Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services (SFBFS) to help us surpass last year’s phenomenal collection of 621,644 pounds of donated food. Let’s make it all the way to 700,000 pounds!

FBI Seeking Bad Breath Bandit in Northern California

Sacramento, California - The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is seeking information that may lead to the apprehension of an armed and dangerous bank robber who has robbed three banks in Northern California. Dubbed the “Bad Breath Bandit” for his use of a disposable paper face mask during the commission of each of the robberies, the suspect is a white male who stands approximately 6’0” tall, weighs approximately 210-250 pounds with a medium build, and has dark hair.
