San Salvador, El Salvador - A 31-year-old Salvadoran man who posed as a human smuggler in order to collect thousands of U.S. dollars from would-be customers was arrested here December 9.

Brussels, Belgium - The EU and the US met on 12 December 2014 in Brussels for a High level Dialogue on Non-Proliferation, Disarmament and Arms Control. The US Delegation was led by Assistant Secretary of State for International Security and Nonproliferation Tom Countryman and by Acting Assistant Secretary of State for Arms Control, Verification and Compliance Anita Friedt. On the EU side, the meeting was chaired by EEAS Principal Adviser and Special Envoy for Non-Proliferation and Disarmament Jacek Bylica, and it included senior officials from 28 EU Member States.

Cucuta, Colombia - A 23-year-old Colombian predator who allegedly coerced 50 children to videotape and photograph themselves performing sexual acts was arrested here Friday by an international team of officers and special agents.
