Sacramento, California - Next week, Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. will take the oath of office as Governor of California, deliver his inaugural address and swear in Mariano-Florentino Cuéllar and Leondra Kruger to the California Supreme Court and Alex Padilla as California Secretary of State on Monday in Sacramento. On Tuesday, he will participate in the official California High-Speed Rail groundbreaking ceremony in Fresno and on Friday, Governor Brown will propose the 2015-16 budget in Sacramento.

Governor Brown Swearing-In Ceremony and Inaugural Address

Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. will take the oath of office as Governor of California and deliver his inaugural address in the Assembly Chamber on Monday. The inaugural address will also serve as the Governor's constitutionally required annual report to the Legislature.

Swearing-In Ceremony for California Supreme Court Nominees

Following his inauguration, Governor Brown will swear in Mariano-Florentino Cuéllar and Leondra R. Kruger to the California Supreme Court. Cuéllar and Kruger were nominated by Governor Brown earlier this year and have been confirmed by the Commission on Judicial Appointments.
