Yosemite Valley, California - Yosemite National Park experienced significant impacts from a strong storm that came in from the Pacific. Impacts included 2 to 4 feet of water on roads within Yosemite Valley, impacts to the electrical system, and impacts to water systems. As water levels recede, the park will assess conditions throughout this evening and into tomorrow morning. If conditions permit, all roads leading into Yosemite Valley and all roads in Yosemite Valley will open today, at noon.
30,000 Dreamers Have Successfully Renewed DACA Applications as a Result of Injunction Secured by California

Sacramento, California - California Attorney General Xavier Becerra issued the following statement following the publication of a quarterly report on DACA applications filed by the federal government. Last night by court order, United Citizenship and Immigration Services produced data on the number of DACA applications that have been renewed or await a pending decision as a result of the nationwide injunction California AG Becerra secured in January. As a result of the injunction, the court ordered the federal government to publish updated statistics, which revealed that at least 30,000 Dreamers have been able to renew their DACA status and secure two more years of DACA protection. In addition, approximately 30,000 DACA applications remain pending.
