Department of State to Host Google+ Hangout on "Spring Break Travel Safety for Women"

Washington, DC - As many U.S. students prepare to travel abroad during their 2014 Spring Break, the U.S. Department of State will host a Google+ Hangout to discuss international travel safety for women on Wednesday, February 26 at 2:00 p.m. EST.

Consular officers serving in the Department’s Bureau of Consular Affairs and students attending Spelman College will participate in the Hangout. Zerlina Maxwell, a contributor to Ebony and MSNBC’s, will moderate the discussion.

The Hangout will be broadcast live on the Department of State’s YouTube channel and Google+ page. Questions can be submitted in advance on Facebook and Twitter using #AskTravelGov. Follow @TravelGov on Twitter for more information.
