El Centro Sector Border Patrol Arrests Lead to Prosecution and Conviction for 15 Illegal Immigrants

Imperial Valley, California - El Centro Sector Border Patrol enforcement operations have led to the recent arrests, convictions, and successful sentencing of 15 illegal immigrants, all of whom had convictions for a crime.

The apprehensions took place earlier this year near the cities of Calexico, El Centro, and Indio, California  The illegal immigrants, many of which have extensive criminal histories, were presented for prosecution on federal criminal charges and sentenced accordingly.

MORENO, Ladislao Sentenced 24 months in federal prison
RAMOS-Pena, Arturo Jorge Sentenced 37 months in federal prison
REYES-Ramirez, Miguel Pedro Sentenced 46 months in federal prison
MUNIZ-Molina, Javier Sentenced 18 months in federal prison
MEZ-Guzman, Moises Sentenced 12 months in federal prison
PATRIZ-Clavel, Richardo Sentenced 24 months in federal prison
PRADO-Ramos, Luis Alain Sentenced 30 months in federal prison
HUERTA-Medina, Crisoforo Sentenced 18 months in federal prison
GARCIA-Guillen, Henry Adrian Sentenced 27 months in federal prison
CHAVEZ-Herrera, Daniel Sentenced 12 months in federal prison
SHAGUN-Contreras, Gustavo Sentenced 30 months in federal prison
NAVARRO, Juan Luis Sentenced 60 months in federal prison

The convicted individuals will be formally deported to their country of origin after serving their prison sentences.
