Sacramento, California - Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. today ordered state flags to be flown at half-staff and issued the following statement in response to the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut:
“We all mourn the heartbreaking loss of those killed at Sandy Hook Elementary. We pray for their families and loved ones.”
