Washington, DC - Secretary of State Rex Tillerson Remarks at the Kennedy Center Honors:

Los Angeles, California - A former employee of a Southern California ambulance company and a former employee of a Los Angeles dialysis treatment center both pleaded guilty Tuesday to fraud charges for their roles in a fraud scheme that resulted in more than $6.6 million in fraudulent claims to Medicare.  Three other individuals charged in the case previously pleaded guilty.

Fresno, California - Cardiovascular Consultants Heart Center (CVC Heart Center), a cardiology clinic with offices in Fresno and Clovis, and its shareholder physicians - Dr. Kevin Boran, Dr. Michael Gen, Dr. Rohit Sundrani, Dr. Donald Gregory, and Dr. William Hanks - will pay $1.2 million to resolve federal and state False Claims Act allegations that they improperly performed and billed federal and state health care programs for medically unnecessary cardiovascular diagnostic procedures, U.S. Attorney Phillip A. Talbert announced.

Sacramento, California - Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. today issued the following statement regarding the death of California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) Toll Collector Si Si Han:

Santa Anna, California - An attorney who lives in El Monte pled guilty Monday to federal fraud and money laundering charges for participating in a multi-faceted scheme that collected more than $50 million from foreign investors seeking “Green Cards” through the EB-5 visa program.

Sacramento, California - CDFA is announcing 18 vacancies on the California Certified Farmers’ Market Advisory Committee (CFMAC).  The CFMAC advises the secretary of agriculture on issues related to the direct marketing of agriculture products at certified farmers’ markets.
