Sacramento, California - A portion of San Benito County has been placed under quarantine for the Asian citrus psyllid (ACP) following the detection of one ACP within the City of Hollister. The 106-square mile quarantine is bordered on the north by Shore Road; on the south by Cienega Road; on the west by Bixby Road; and on the east by an imaginary line.

Berkeley, California - Over the past 35 years, California’s high-wage workers have seen steady increases in their paychecks. But low-wage workers, 4.8 million strong and about one-third of the state’s workforce, earned less in inflation-adjusted dollars in 2014 than they did in 1979, according to a new analysis from UC Berkeley.
