33% of top WordPress sites are at least two versions behind

Jacksonville, Florida - Following WordPress’ recent update to version 4.9.5, we decided to do a little bit of research to see just how quickly WordPress websites were updating—and how many were multiple updates behind. What we found was disconcerting to say the least. 49% of WordPress sites in the Quantcast Top 10,000 are not running the latest, most secure version of WordPress. And 33% are multiple updates behind.

Department of State Participation in Flintlock 2018

Washington, DC - The Department of State is pleased to once again participate in Flintlock, U.S. Africa Command’s (AFRICOM) annual and largest Special Operations Forces exercise. Flintlock exercises have taken place regularly since 2005 with partner nations from the Trans-Sahara Counterterrorism Partnership (TSCTP) and are planned by African partner nation special operations forces; Special Operations Command, Africa (SOCAFRICA); and the U.S. Department of State. Approximately 1,900 service members from 20 African and Western partner nations will participate in Flintlock at multiple locations in Niger, Burkina Faso, and Senegal from April 9-20, 2018.
Seven Kings County and Tennessee Residents Indicted for Firearms Trafficking Conspiracy

Fresno, California - A federal grand jury returned an indictment today charging seven Tennessee and California residents with various firearms offenses, including conspiracy to traffic in firearms by an unlicensed person, illegal transportation of firearms, and being a felon in possession of firearms, U.S. Attorney McGregor W. Scott announced. None of the defendants is licensed to deal or import firearms.
