Houston, Texas - A fugitive Mexican national wanted in his native country for homicide was deported Friday by officers with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO).

Washington, DC - The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has released the final version of a document outlining its process for developing cryptographic standards and guidelines. NIST Cryptographic Standards and Guidelines Development Process (NISTIR 7977) is an integral part of NIST’s effort to ensure a robust, widely understood and participatory process for developing cryptography, which is the technology used to store and transmit data in a particular form so it can only be read or processed by the intended recipient.
