Freeport, Maine - Today L.L.Bean announced year end approval of its Charitable Giving Program that will allocate $1.9 Million in grants to nearly 80 organizations for annual gifts, plus additional funding in small grants to dozens more. The program was approved by the L.L.Bean Board of Directors at their December meeting and represents an increase over last year’s charitable program.

San Antonio, Texas - A former Special Agent in Charge of the Department of Homeland Security - Office of Inspector General (DHS-OIG) was sentenced to 37 months in prison today for a scheme to falsify records and obstruct an internal DHS-OIG inspection, announced Assistant Attorney General Leslie R. Caldwell of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division and Special Agent in Charge Christopher Combs of the FBI’s San Antonio Field Office.
