Sacramento, California - Assemblymember Eduardo Garcia (D-Coachella) released the following statement after the Assembly passed Senate Bill 32 to extend California’s landmark emissions reductions goals:

“SB 32 changes the conversation when it comes to climate change in California. Now we’re talking about equity, accountability, transparency, and people. People with districts that historically been economically disadvantaged and dealing with high levels of pollution. Today is a new day for California’s climate change policies.”
