Calexico, California - Congressman Juan Vargas (CA-51) will join Wells Fargo’s San Diego area President, Ernesto Arredondo, to unveil a new full-service ATM in Calexico. Wells Fargo will also be presenting a total of $55,000 to two nonprofit Imperial Valley organizations. Congressman Vargas will be available for interviews following the event.

Imperial, California - The Imperial County Board of Supervisors has announced a special meeting on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at 9:30 am to select a new Essential Air Services (EAS) provider for flight services for Imperial County. The RFP process produced 3 proposals to fill the void left when SeaPort Airlines ceased operations in the county in early January.

El Centro, California - Yesterday, an Imperial County Jail inmate identified as 20 year old Jonathan Manuel Munoz was found unresponsive in his cell. Immediate medical attention was provided and inmate Munoz was subsequently transported to the El Centro Regional Medical Center for treatment.
