Sacramento, California - Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. today announced the appointment of Kristine A. Eagle to a judgeship in the San Joaquin County Superior Court.

Eagle, 51, of Stockton, has served as a commissioner at the San Joaquin County Superior Court since 2015. She was a sole practitioner at the Law Office of Kristine Eagle from 2002 to 2015 and served as a deputy public defender at the San Joaquin County Public Defender’s Office from 1989 to 2002. Eagle earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Francisco, School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, San Diego. She fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Bobby W. McNatt. Eagle is a Democrat.
