Los Angeles, California - U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) at Los Angeles/Long Beach Seaport in coordination with the Machinery Center of Excellence and Expertise (CEE), and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), intercepted and seized 52,601 firearms parts in violation of the Chinese Arms Embargo.

Monterey Park, California - This week, as young people return to California institutions of higher learning, Governor Gavin Newsom is traveling the state to highlight that for the first time in decades, California will provide two free years of community college to any first-time, full-time California student. Tomorrow, the Governor will visit students at East Los Angeles Community College and rally to promote the free college initiative.
