Los Angeles, California - A Placentia woman already serving a prison sentence for defrauding Medi-Cal is expected to be arraigned this afternoon on new federal charges related to her operation of a hospice that submitted millions of dollars in fraudulent bills to Medicare and Medi-Cal for purportedly providing end-of-life care to patients who were, in fact, not dying.

Los Angeles, California - The FBI and law enforcement partners in various cities are seeking the public’s help in learning the whereabouts of a suspect identified as Gregory Lynn Cross, 58, whom investigators have linked to a series of bank robberies and attempted bank robberies on six occasions since December 13th (see list below) .

Sacramento, California - Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. today reappointed Michael Picker to the California Public Utilities Commission, where he has served since January 2014, and designated him president of the commission. Governor Brown also announced the appointment of Liane Randolph, who has served as deputy secretary and general counsel of the California Natural Resources Agency, to the commission.
