Washington, DC - The U.S. Food and Drug Administration today announced it has warned four more online networks, operating a total of 21 websites, illegally marketing potentially dangerous, unapproved, and misbranded versions of opioid medications, including tramadol. The warning letters issued by the FDA to each of the networks state that they must immediately stop illegally selling these products to American consumers.

Washington, DC - Friday, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) was joined by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Facebook, and Microsoft to host a briefing for the National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS) and the National Association of State Election Directors (NASED) on recent actions taken by both companies to combat foreign threats. This is the second call in recent weeks DHS has hosted with Facebook and the nation’s lead election security officials to share information on actions being taken to combat malicious interference operations. The call provided a unique opportunity to connect private and public officials to share information and actions being taken to combat threats to our elections and to our democracy.
19 foreign nationals indicted for illegally voting in 2016 elections

Wilmington, North Carolina - Nineteen foreign nationals were charged with unlawfully voting in the 2016 elections Friday (15 Democrats, 3 Republicans, and 2 Unaffiliated), and a U.S. citizen was charged with aiding and abetting an alien to falsely claim U.S. citizenship to register to vote. The indictments follow an investigation by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) as part of a newly created Document and Benefit Fraud Task Force (DBFTF) in the Eastern District of North Carolina.
