Washington, DC - The U.S. Food and Drug Administration Tuesday posted a warning letter to Nutra Pharma Corp. for illegally marketing unapproved products labeled as homeopathic with claims about their ability to treat addiction and chronic pain, including pain associated with cancer, diabetes, shingles, fibromyalgia and other serious conditions.

El Centro, California - Today, a troubled person climbed a structure/tower at 5th and Broadway and indicated his dire wishes to officers and crisis negotiators on scene. Just prior to 6:30 PM, the man came down from the structure and was safely taken into custody. He will be taken to the appropriate local facilities through Imperial County Behavioral Health Services who equipped to deal with suicidal persons.

Washington, DC - On March 19, the United States co-sponsored an event with Albania, Argentina, Colombia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Georgia, Hungary, Israel, Romania, and the United Kingdom at the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland to highlight the dire human rights situation in Venezuela. Deputy Assistant Secretary for Western Hemisphere Affairs Carrie Filipetti led a panel that included a former prisoner of conscience, an investigative journalist, a legal expert, and a Member of the National Assembly who shared firsthand accounts of repression and explained the depth of the human rights crisis under the former Maduro regime.
