Los Angeles, California - Runners will be seeing double as Color Me Rad 5K announces its “Bigger, Badder, Radder” Tour for 2015. All locations will get double the color with eight hue-enhancing stations along the course - the most at any 5K. The tour will also feature bold new gel colors, free socks, and participants can relive the bigger, badder radness with free photos.

“We took Color Me Rad and turned everything way up,” said race director Scott Crandall. “If you miss this tour you’ll have more regret than that time you skipped your graduation.”

Color Me Rad has turned more than 1.5 million runners into color revelers since 2012. Far from a traditional 5K, Color Me Rad is an excuse to let loose. Runners come in a sparkling white t-shirt and leave in a tie-dyed masterpiece. Finishers celebrate their accomplishment with the ultimate after-race party that includes color throws, contests, dancing, and a brighter outlook on life.

Inspired by the Holi Festival of India, a group of friends decided to bring some excitement to the sport of running through color, music, and a total disregard for the mundane. “We are all about encouraging the fun side of fitness,” said Crandall. “This should be your most memorable workout of the year.”

Color Me Rad is a for-profit event that gives a portion of the proceeds of each race to a local charity. “The only thing better than getting rad is giving back,” Crandall said.

Participants of all ages are welcome to run or walk. Registration is available at the newly redesigned site, colormerad.com.

In 2015 Color Me Rad™ will hold races across the U.S., Canada, and international locations in more than 100 cities. For more information and to see additional race locations, visit http://www.colormerad.com or on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/colormerad5k.
