Fort Belvoir, Virginia - As part of their Joining Forces initiative and in celebration of the upcoming Invictus Games, the First Lady and Dr. Biden will join  Prince Harry for a visit to Fort Belvoir.

During the visit to Fort Belvoir, the First Lady, Dr. Biden, and Prince Harry will meet with wounded Servicemen and women in recovery and rehabilitation programs. They will tour the USO Warrior and Family Center, a state-of-the art facility which was specifically designed to support wounded, injured, or ill servicemembers, military families, and caregivers.  Lastly, after delivering brief remarks, they will watch a short adaptive sports event, similar to one that will be featured in the Invictus Games. The visit will highlight the innovative programming designed to support the mental health and wellbeing of service members, veterans, and their families.
