Washington, DC - The Federal Trade Commission has taken action for the first time against two car title lenders, reaching settlements that will require them to stop their use of deceptive advertising to market title loans.

Washington, DC - A Washington, D.C., tax return preparer and former Washington, D.C., public school teacher and her son, a current Washington, D.C., public school teacher, were convicted today by a federal jury of conspiracy and preparing and filing false tax returns, the Justice Department and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) announced.

Twenty university juniors and seniors were chosen based on an essay sharing their thoughts on "Agriculture as a Career." Washington, DC - The U.S. Department of Education has released a new guide for educators on ways to identify and help prevent child trafficking in schools. Human Trafficking in America's Schools is a free guide for school staff that includes information about risk factors, recruitment, and how to identify trafficking; what to do if you suspect trafficking, including sample school protocols and policies; and other resources and potential partnership opportunities.
