Keep Calexico Clean Campaign - Volunteers Sought

Calexico, California - Roll up your sleeves and join your neighbors and friends to help “Keep Calexico Clean”.  The City of Calexico is seeking volunteers to assist in the first "Keep Calexico Clean" campaign.  This is a wonderful opportunity to set an example of environmental awareness and responsibility for our youth; while uniting to show your Calexico pride by beautifying our city. 

Those 18 years of age or older who are interested in helping may sign-up as individual volunteers or volunteer teams consisting of family, co-workers, campaign committee members, friends, service clubs, veterans, non-profit groups, etc.   Individual Team shirts may be worn during the event.

The Keep Calexico Clean campaign will focus volunteer efforts on various occasions for the cleaning of selected sites throughout our city.  The first organized community clean up event will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2014 from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.  The location selected is the west access road of Highway 111 between Cole Rd. and Highway 98.
