U.S. Border Patrol Agents in Southern California Arrest Violent Criminal

Calexico, California - U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to Calexico Station apprehended a 50-year-old male, Mexican national, attempting to enter the United States illegally near Calexico, California.

On July 6, 1989, the Los Angeles Superior Court had convicted the subject of PC-Murder Second Degree and sentenced him to an eight-year prison term. An Immigration Judge ordered him removed from the United States on December 22, 1992.

The U.S. Border Patrol will seek prosecution on the subject for illegal re-entry into the United States.
