Washington, DC - The U.S. Department of State and its implementing partner, Partners for the Americas, are pleased to announce the recipients of the 2016 Capacity Building Grants for U.S. Undergraduate Study Abroad. These 18 U.S. institutions of higher education will be awarded up to $50,000 to increase and diversify participation in study abroad on their campuses. This will expand international experiences available to American students, giving them the skills they need to succeed in diverse workplaces, communities, and educational institutions.

The capacity building grants will help ensure that U.S. institutions are able to develop and maintain strong international partnerships and diversify fields of study and study abroad destinations for students.
