Sacramento, California - Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. today announced the appointment of Christopher B. Harmon to a judgeship in the Riverside County Superior Court.
Harmon, 39, of Trabuco Canyon, has been a sole practitioner since 2013 and has been executive director and trial attorney at Criminal Defense Lawyers since 2003. He was a partner at Harmon and Harmon from 2000 to 2013. Harmon earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Southern California. He fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Jean Pfeiffer Leonard. Harmon is registered without party preference.
The compensation for this position is $181,292.
