Washington, DC - Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs Richard Stengel will travel to Palo Alto, California, February 22–23, to promote the 2016 Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES), which will take place from June 23–24 in Silicon Valley.

On February 22, the Under Secretary will discuss President Obama’s goals for the summit in a conversation with Michael McFaul, Director of the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies. The event, entitled “Empowering the World – Entrepreneurship and the Future of Foreign Policy”, is open to the public as well as pre-credentialed media.
