U.S. Border Patrol Agents Arrest Murder Suspect

Tecate, California - U.S. Border Patrol agents arrested a U.S. citizen yesterday who had an outstanding warrant for homicide in San Bernardino, California.

At approximately 7:15 p.m., agents located a 32-year-old male hiding in brush near the U.S./Mexico International Border. The man admitted to bypassing the nearby port of entry and crossing the border illegally. Agents transported the man to the Tecate port of entry. A records check revealed an outstanding homicide warrant issued by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department. 

Border Patrol agents arrested the suspect at the port of entry. The man was turned over to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department for extradition to San Bernardino, California.
