Allied Waste Services of Imperial Valley Scholarships

Imperial, California - Allied Waste Services of Imperial Valley is now taking applications from High School Seniors from the Cities of Calexico, Imperial and Brawley for the 2012 scholastic year.
The 2012 Allied Waste Services of Imperial Valley Scholarships are designed to promote student achievement by providing scholarships to students who show interest in attending a two-year community college, technical education school or university. A personal essay of no more than 400 words outlining the students future plans on they would better protect the environment is required.
“These scholarships are an important part of our continued partnerships we have with the communities we service in the Valley and we take great pride in promoting student achievement through environmental awareness. ” said Randy Bringle, Allied Waste Services of Imperial Valley, Division Manager.
Allied Waste Scholarship applications will be made available for students at their local High School Counseling Center or by calling Allied Waste at (760) 355-0004.
