Escondido, California - Throughout September, the San Diego Zoo Safari Park is honoring the hard-working firefighters who help to protect people, animals and structures across the region. Through the support of California Coast Credit Union, the San Diego Zoo Safari Park is offering free admission to all active firefighters and up to three accompanying guests during the entire month of September.

Lake Havasu, Arizona - Saturday evening at approximately 8:03 PM the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received several 911 calls in reference to a boating crash on the Colorado River between Pirates Cove and the Topock Marina, north of Lake Havasu. Several callers advised that multiple people were in the water, there were multiple injuries, and several people were missing.

We recently found that some generic versions of one medication, valsartan, contain an impurity that doesn’t meet FDA’s safety standards. CBP officers in Wilmington, Delaware intercepts 99 pounds of cocaine hidden in Pineapples

Wilmington, Delaware - U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers at the Port of Wilmington seized 99.66 pounds of cocaine on August 22, 2018. The cocaine was secreted within the corrugated bottoms of 20 cardboard boxes containing pineapples from San Carlos, Costa Rica. The shipment was destined to Clifton, NJ.
